Zero Celcius
Irma Irsara
A set of images taken for London based Italian artist Irma Irsara for her Zero Celsius project. It was originally staged in the Victorian ice wells at the London Canal Museum where she used ice forms, melanix, organic material, video and lights, to create a time-based installation which reflects shifting and changing geographical boundaries as a result of climatic conditions. It was a challenging (and enjoyable) shoot requiring careful lighting to capture the suble details and colours.
The images were used by the artist and her sponsors for promotional activities. One of the images was also featured in Aesthetica magazine.
